Hi Rob, You know me by my actual name, Catherine Christy; I attend Northland live on my PC. Kate Norling is my name with my grandmother's maiden name that I use when writing.
I had a chat last week with you regarding starting a house church. I've been going over your web site and it has a lot of great information I can use.

There are several families in the area, whom I know would be interested in attending, if I could convey the house church idea in a succinct, appealing way. I was thinking about having a dinner with these families, and after dinner, read to them from Acts, several accounts of the early church meeting in homes. I could also give each family represented,a copy of the eBook, "Going to Church in the First Century," by Robert Banks. I would also use the Brichouse

Purpose or Mission Statement and Statement of Faith, as they align exactly with what Jesus taught the church should be. I would also add web addresses to both your site and to Northland Church on the back of the eBook, for people to go to for more information.

Hopefully, everyone will agree to meet on Friday evenings, so we are not only having a house church, but to honor Shabbat. We have previously talked together regarding studying the Torah, Tenaka, Talmud and other Hebrew holy books, in what is known as Torah Studies for the Christian. If they agree to doing Torah studies, meeting on the Sabbath will be perfect. Friday night is the only night my husband is available to participate in a home church. God knows this and will work everything out.

Dear Lord Jesus, we come today to you prostrate, confessing our sins and the sins of our nation and of our president. Father, we know he would not be President at this time without your blessing; but it is so very difficult to watch someone who is supposed to be protecting and defending the Constitution of the USA, rip her apart. It is very painful to watch him turn his back on Israel and side with a people who are known liars. It is painful to have to hear him tell the Prime Minister of Israel that they have to move their boarders back to the indefensible boarders they had before 1967. Lord, help the American people as a whole to stand behind Israel, even if our President does not. Please do not curse our land because of something that man does. Father, we pray for the peace of Jerusalem that it may come quickly.

You have put the desire heavy on my heart to start a house church in our area. I believe if you want this to happen, you will provide the families you want to be involved, and the appropriate house where it will be held Help me to leave these things in your hands, and trust you to lead us exactly where you want us to go in our studies and in the way you want us to set up the formal or administrative end of the church.

Father, we lift you up and praise your name for all of the blessings you give to us. Your name is great and you are worthy to be praised as the King of kings and Lord of lords, the Lion of Judah, and as our Savior and Lord. thank you for all that you are going to do with this house church. We commit it into your hands, along with every person who becomes involved. In Jesus name we pray. Amen.
